There are basically two kinds of timelines to decide on for your wedding day: First Look or Traditional(No First Look). While I respect being traditional and wanting to save that moment where the groom sees the bride the first time walking down the aisle, there are a number of reason to consider doing what is know as a First Look. It not only makes for a less complicated wedding day schedule for you and your vendors, but also adds a special moment to your day to be alone and allows for a more flexible schedule. It also assures that you will get a variety of couples photos on the day of your wedding without feeling rushed. Without doing a first look there are several photos that have to happen within a short amount of time and can cut into the couples portraits. I highly recommend doing a first look so that the schedule is not rushed.
These are two mock schedules to get an idea of what a wedding day schedule looks like with and without a first look. This is meant to be a guide to help you with your timeline but I will ultimately stick to the timeline I am provided. I am also more than willing to help if there are any questions!
